Gucci Watch Makes A Watch Or Accessory For Everyone
I have an aunt, who has a keen interest in fashion, art, poetry, antiques and last, but not least, watches. When I say watches I do not mean any ordinary watch, I mean designer watches. Gucci watches are her thing and she has a magnificent collection to boast. Awe and a touch of envy are common feelings experienced by those who have seen it.
Auntie started collecting designer watches when she was twelve and has not stopped to date. She got her first Gucci one, gifted to her by her husband, her boyfriend at that time at the age of seventeen. Her husband is the son of a rich diplomat and often bought her expensive gifts, the watch being one of them. She got addicted to the G word after that and would settle for nothing else when it came to purchasing one.
Her husband's gifted model was a pure silver make and had water resistant qualities. The watch was her pride and glory. She was affectionate towards it and very protective of the watch. She would take utmost care of it. The watch was touched by none and kept away from the sight of others. Auntie had a feeling deep down in her heart that she had a certain connection with the watches and it would last forever.
The deal was an expensive one and you need quite a lot of money to buy a designer watch. My aunt hence started saving her money so that she could buy her favorite model. Her husband obviously had no problem in paying the cash, and would give her a certain amount. Her birthday was the day to buy one or on important events. Everyone knew now, both family and friends, about her hobby.
As she was nearing her thirties, she bought one more. Her collection now had fifteen watches. She wanted to collect till she died. The collection was also very nice to look at, and had quite a variety! And to top it all, Auntie also got herself made a custom watch. This model was pure gold, scratch proof and also water resistant. It also had an inscription of her initials on the dial and looked spectacular.
On turning fifty, the collection had well over sixty watches. And every watch had an exclusive appeal; dissimilarity was a strong feature. My aunt had become very faithful to her brand and trusted it with all her heart. It seemed like she had a job in the company. Her watches attracted a lot of attention and soon the newspapers and magazines wanted to meet her for interviews and other queries.
An article about the watch collection was published by a local magazine. On seeing the article Auntie's gratitude knew no bounds. She was highly grateful to her loving husband who encouraged her hobby and made the collection bigger!
Now at seventy three, she still collects her favorite Gucci watch. The total number, in her mens wristwatch collection is now ninety two. Auntie keeps the watches in a closet, specially made for the collection. It is locked, always, and only she has the keys to the closet. She has visitors coming everyday, just to get a glimpse at the marvelous collection. This is one of those family heirloom collections that's going to stay in the family!
