1. SERVICES

PLEASE MAKE CERTAIN YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION ON HOW TO OPERATE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR WATCH BEFORE HANDLING THEM. IT WILL TRULY LET YOU ENJOY A MORE WORTHWILE EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR WATCH.

WATER RESISTANCE/WATER PROOF

Please take note that although some watches are water-resistant to a certain degree, Time Traditions will recommend that you try to keep it away from water whenever possible and always make sure that the watch crown is screwed in tight to avoid water or moisture from entering it. All watches have been checked to be in working condition before we send them out.

Avoid wearing your watch when you take a shower or go swimming. Otherwise, water or moisture may accidentally seep in. The warranty that Time Traditions offers can't be availed of if damage is caused by accidental usage.

Q1. WHAT'S THE FIRST THING I SHOULD DO UPON RECEIVING THE WATCH?

A1. Wind it. It's possible that the watch runs out of energy during the journey. Do this by turning the crown 15-20 times, clockwise. If you know your watch is battery, there's no need to wind it. On the other hand, if it has a screw-tight crown, turn it counter-clockwise until it loosens. You can then proceed with the afore-mentioned suggestion of winding it 15 to 20 times, clockwise. Then, push the crown inside. Turn the crown clockwise and screw it tight back at the same time. Your watch begins to tick after this manual winding.

Q2. MY WATCH IS AUTOMATIC, WHY DOES IT STOP?

A2. If your watch is a quartz version, it means that the battery has been fully utilized. Kindly change the battery.

An automatic watch, on the other hand, runs on stored energy. It gathers energy from human hand kinetic movement. When you do not wear it and it drains out of energy, it'll stop. When this happens, turn the crown clockwise for 10 to 12 rounds. Setting the day and date correctly depends on whether it's controlled by the crown or by a recessed button pusher. Adjust accordingly then. For the crown, pull it out lightly once to adjust Date/Day (many watches are like that). Pull it out twice to adjust the time. If it's a screw in crown, unscrew the crown anti-clockwise and follow the same actions to adjust Date/Day and Time.

Q3. WHAT MUST I DO TO SET THE TIME?

A3. To set time, you must unscrew crown in an anti-clockwise direction if you have a screw-in crown watch. You need to softly and slowly pull the crown out a little bit. The finest way to do this is to use first and second finger and use finger knuckle as a lever so as to pull the crown out as gently as possible. When you feel a little click, that signals you to turn the crown counter-clockwise. This then allows you to turn the hands forward so you can set the right time. When time is set, push the button back and screw the crown clockwise for a few rounds to ensure it's screwed back tightly.

Q4. HOW DO I SET THE GMT & LOCAL TIME?

A4. GMT means Dual Time Zone and it typically utilizes a 24-hour clock rather than a 12-hour clock that we normally use. This feature allows for the setting of 2 time zones. A local minute-hour hand time as well as a GMT (sometimes red) arrow second time zone.

Please follow the steps mentioned below when adjusting the time:

1. Unwind the crown anti-clockwise softly and slowly until it loosens up. To pull out the button stem, you can select between two steps, which shall be discussed below. Remember to do it gently - and never exert too much effort.

2. STEP ONE is is used for setting the GMT second time zone. STEP TWO is for setting the local time. Pull one-step out then wind the button clockwise to set GMT and anticlockwise to set the date. Then, pull one more step to adjust the local time. Pushing the crown inward one step shall take it back to GMT setting. Pushing it 2 steps will bring it back to normal position and you can turn it back clockwise while pushing it back gently to secure the crown onto the watchcase.

3. Set local time FIRST and then GMT SECOND time zone. When you set local time, GMT time shall also be changed at the same time.

Q5. WHEN DO I HAVE TO CHANGE THE BATTERY OF MY QUARTZ WATCH?

A5. A new battery will normally last for 2 years. Thus, you may need to change batteries within this time frame.

Q6. HOW DO I CHANGE THE DATE IN MY WATCH?

A6. Take the following actions in order to change the date and time in your watch. For watches with a screw-in crown such as a Rolex, just turn the crown counter clockwise a few times until you notice that it is loose. Gently, pull out the crown with the use of your thumb's and first finger's nails. Remember do this gently, otherwise, you might break the stem. You know that you're doing this correctly when you hear a click here. Pulling the crown out can be accomplished in two steps. The first one lets you set the date (and day, if applicable. The next one lets you set the local time. You can only set Date forward by winding the crown in one direction. When you are done with setting the date and time, push back the crown and wind it clockwise for a few times to lock it.

Q7. WHAT IS SCREW-IN CROWN? HOW IS THIS DISTINCT FROM OTHERS?

A7. A Screw-in crown will lock into the case of the watch when you turn the crown clockwise toward the watch case. It tightens when it is tightly screwed. Most Rolex watches use Screw-in crown. When you like to wind your Panerai replica watch, you have to un-lock the crown by turning the button anti-clockwise until you see the crown come out of the watch a little bit, about 1.0 to 1.5 mm. Do this slowly; otherwise, you may break the stem link. As soon as the crown comes out, begin adjusting the time, date and date - as you do with other watches. To lock it, slowly turn it and push it toward the watch until it is locked tight. Again, there is no need to exert extra force here. Watches that do not use screw-in crowns do not have to be unscrewed before the time, date and day can be set.

Q8. WHAT IS A RECESSED PUSHER? HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM THE PUSHER BUTTONS THAT ARE NOT RECESSED?

A8. Recessed pushers are those buttons that are placed in the watch body, for aesthetic effects, most especially. Several watches already contain a lot of push buttons - making recessed ones saves on space and makes the watch more attractive. Normally, recessed pushers are for setting date, year or day, etc. To push the recessed button all-the-way, use a ball-point pen; this allows the desired changes to take effect. Repeat the process until you get the change that you desire. Do not push half way or release half way, it'll sometimes cause the gear to change half way and make it indicate the incorrect information and it may damage other mechanical parts in the watch's movement.

Q9. I HAVE A ROLEX DAYTONA WITH VALJOUX 7750B1 MOVEMENT WITH FUNCTIONAL CHRONOS, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO USE THE STOPWATCH FUNCTION?

A9. The Daytona has chronograph buttons, which in turn has a protective-screw lock as a protection mechanism. This attribute is unique to the Rolex Daytona. When you need to push the button, you must un-wind the protective-screw to the level of the inside button, then you can push the button and press the button. Again, don't forget to push all-the-way and fully release it while pushing. Pushing halfway may cause it to stop half way and cause mechanical problems.

Q10. HOW DOES A TACHYMETER WORK AND WHAT IS IT FOR?

A10. A tachymeter is a scale on the dial. Many sports watches have this feature either on the rim or the bezel. It works together with the second hand, measuring speed of a moving object. A tachymeter takes a value determined in less than a minute and converts it into miles/hour. For instance, a person could measure the time it takes a car to pass between mile markers on the road. calculate the time that it takes for a car to travel from one mile marker to another. As soon as the car passes the 2nd mile marke
r, the second hand will now point to the speed of the car in miles per hour on the tachymetric scale.

Q11.HOW DO I CORRECTLY UTILIZE THE STOPWATCH FUNCTION ON VALJOUX 7750B1 MOVEMENT?

A11. {To avoid damaging the delicate

Do not set the date when your time is between 10:00 and 3:00 if your Valjoux 7750b1 has a date function. Otherwise, you will unconsciously ruin the internal gears. The BEST WAY is to manually adjust the time to 6:00 and then adjust the DATE after doing so.

In addition, don't forget to depress the pusher button on top to start and stop the stopwatch function if you are using the chronograph functions of the Valjoux 7750b1.

REMEMBER: START & STOP is TOP Pusher Button

Remember to STOP the stopwatch first, before you depress the lower pusher button in order to reset the stopwatch function. DON'T DEPRESS the lower pusher button when the stopwatch function is still running. Only after you've STOPPED the chronograph shall you depress the lower pusher button.

Following these tips will ensure that your watch will have a long life. Since thesewatches aren't made to COSC standards, nor are they SWISS GENEVE made or stamped, they would not last a lifetime. Bear in mind that a Panerai replica is always a replica, but do enjoy them as at a fraction of the cost, these aesthetically-perfect replicas are a joy to wear, aren't they?

Kindly send me an email through admin@timetraditions.com if you have other inquiries.

Here are additional pieces of information for your 7750/7750b1/7753 Valjoux Movement watches.

*Please read them before you play with your watch that has the above movement

1. How is a date changed on a watch that has 7750, 7753, or 7750b1 movement or anything that has date chrono/automatic?

Unless you have done the instructions mentioned below, don't activate the chrono.

As soon as you receive your piece, please remember to handwind the piece for about 50 rounds, so as to generate enough power reserve. Then, you shake the piece like a mad cow for 3-4 minutes to generate more power reserve (If needed)

Then pull the crown out to set the hour hand manually to determine when is am/pm. See the date change - then you shall know when is AM or PM. Ascertain that you know when is am/ pm prior to proceeding.

Make sure you do not change the date between 10pm-2am ever!!! Don't ask me why because it is just the way it works. If you do this, your date will become erroneous or it'll go halfway.

Once the AM/PM is finalized, proceed by turning the crown until the desired date is obtained.

As for the timer hand to reset back to zero, it's pure luck....you may get a perfect reset, or less than perfect reset. My Genuine Rolex Daytona did not reset to zero after 3 months. Lasty, ascertain that everytime you activate chrono, you have enough power reserve. Have fun!!!
